Job brief: We are seeking a Techno-Commercial Product Costing Engineer with robust experience in manufacturing-based costing within the T&D; or allied engineering industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate product costing, tender pricing, and profitability analysis across our product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Detailed BOM-based product costing
Raw material cost analysis (MS, GI, Copper, Aluminum, Polymers, etc.)
Forging, fabrication, machining & galvanizing cost calculation
Injection moulding cycle time & processing cost estimation
Tender costing and pricing strategy
Overhead allocation & margin analysis
Cost reduction & value engineering initiatives
Coordination with design, production, and sales teams
Requirements and skills:
-M/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
-5–12 years experience in product costing in the T&D; / switchgear / heavy fabrication industry
-Robust understanding of manufacturing processes and material yield calculations
