Contract: 12 months (with potential extension based on performance)

Client: A leading multinational telecommunications company – Motorola

Overview:

As a Localization Engineer – PC, you’ll ensure global readiness of PC products by enabling seamless localization workflows, technical integration, and automation.

Responsibilities
Prepare, analyze, and process files for translation across PC titles.
Build and maintain scripts/tools to automate localization workflows.
Collaborate with linguists, PMs, and developers to integrate localized assets.
Troubleshoot encoding, formatting, and file conversion issues.
Validate localized builds and ensure proper implementation.
Maintain documentation for tools, workflows, and processes.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred.
2–4+ years in localization engineering,



or related technical role.
Knowledge of localization workflows and formats (JSON, XML, CSV).
Familiarity with scripting (Python)
Experience with Linux bash terminal
Knowledge in pipeline automation
Familiarity with Git or version control tools.

Tech Stack
Languages: Python, Bash/PowerShell.
Formats: JSON, XML, CSV, HTML, YAML
Tools: Git, Jenkins/CI
Workplace: Windows/PC pipelines.
Nice to Have: build automation tools.
