About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, super-star go-getter and a detail-oriented and highly dependable Senior Accountant to manage the accounting and statutory compliance requirements of our group companies across multiple countries. This is a hands-on role requiring solid accounting fundamentals, excellent reconciliation skills, and practical knowledge of Indian taxation.
Key ResponsibilitiesGlobal Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain complete books of accounts for group companies across:
India
United Kingdom
United States
UAE
France
Record day-to-day accounting transactions accurately and on time.
Work across multiple accounting platforms including:
Zoho Books
QuickBooks
Other ERP/accounting software as required.
Ensure books are maintained in accordance with accounting best practices and management reporting requirements.
Reconciliations
Own and regularly perform reconciliations including:
Bank reconciliations
Customer (Debtors/Accounts Receivable)
reconciliations
Vendor (Creditors/Accounts Payable) reconciliations
Inter-company reconciliations
Related party balances
Advance payments and deposits
Employee reimbursement reconciliations
Payment gateway reconciliations
Credit card and expense reconciliations
Ledger scrutiny and balance sheet schedule preparation
Investigate and resolve accounting differences independently.
Indian Taxation & Statutory Compliance
Manage and support:
GST compliance
GST reconciliations
GSTR return preparation and review
TDS calculations and return filings
Advance Tax computations
Income Tax support
Books preparation for statutory requirements
Accounting records required for assessments and notices
Audit & ROC Support
Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
Coordinate with statutory auditors.
Provide accounting schedules and reconciliations during annual audits.
