Experience Required: 3 to 5 years in International Logistics & Customs Brokerage
Customs Clearance: Manage end-to-end import and export custom clearance procedures. Ensure accurate preparation of Shipping Bills, Bill of Entry, and related customs documents.
Freight Forwarding Operations: Coordinate with international shipping lines, NVOCCs, and transport agencies to ensure timely container movements.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure strict adherence to Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) rules, Indian Customs regulations, and GST guidelines. Handle Letters of Credit (LC) and banking documentation.
Rate Negotiation & Vendor Management: Source and negotiate the best freight rates (Ocean/Air/Road) with shipping lines and transport operators. Maintain a robust network of vendor relationships.
Tracking & Problem Solving: Proactively monitor the transit of cargo and resolve any issues related to port delays, demurrage, or documentation discrepancies.
Key Requirements
Experience: Proven experience working with Custom House Agents (CHA), Freight Forwarding companies, or the EXIM department of a manufacturing/trading firm.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of HS codes, duty drawbacks, and port operations. Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., CargoWise, SAP SD/Logistics, or Tally for billing).
Soft Skills: Robust negotiation skills, good English communication, and the ability to liaise effectively with customs officials and overseas clients.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
