Join us as a JAVA UI Developer at Barclays where you will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting critical business applications. To be successful as a JAVA UI Developer , you should have experience with:
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
Develop scalable microservices and backend components supporting business-critical workflows.
Build and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, functions, and performance tuning solutions.
Support application integrations with Kafka, middleware services, APIs, and external systems.
Participate in application architecture reviews and technical design discussions.
Ensure compliance with BCP, operational resilience, security, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts,



Infrastructure teams, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
Perform root cause analysis and resolution of production issues.
Implement automated testing, CI/CD deployment pipelines, and release management processes.
Contribute to technical documentation, support runbooks, and knowledge-sharing activities.
Support audit, risk, and control activities related to application development and infrastructure.
Ensure applications align with Business Continuity Planning (BCP) requirements.
Support disaster recovery testing and resilience assessments.
Maintain application recoverability documentation.
Participate in resilience reviews and continuity exercises.
Ensure infrastructure dependencies and recovery procedures are documented and tested.
