Key Responsibilities
Perform Inward Inspection of raw materials and purchased components as per drawings and specifications.
Conduct In-Process Inspection during production to ensure process and product quality.
Carry out Final Inspection before product dispatch to verify dimensional and visual quality.
Perform Outgoing Inspection to ensure products meet customer requirements.
Measure components using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers (Screw Gauges), Height Gauges, Dial Gauges, and other measuring instruments.
Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials/products.
Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.
Required Skills:
Experience in Inward, In-Process, Final, and Outgoing Inspection:
Proficient in Vernier Calipers, Micrometers (Screw Gauges), Height Gauges, Dial Gauges, and Bore Gauges:
Understanding of GD&T; and quality standards
Experience in handling inspection reports and documentation
Good knowledge of quality inspection techniques and defect identification
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word)
Positive communication and teamwork skills
Robust attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Qualifications
Diploma / ITI / BE in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience: 1.5 to 7 years in a manufacturing quality inspection role.
