Job Profile: Production Supervisor - Hand Tools Manufacturing

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in the hand tools manufacturing line, with a specific focus on spanner production. This role is pivotal in ensuring the productive and high-quality production of our hand tools, leveraging your expertise in key manufacturing processes and machine shop operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Production Oversight:
Supervise and manage the entire production process for spanner manufacturing, ensuring all operations are conducted efficiently and effectively.
Oversee key manufacturing processes, including forging, broaching, trimming, and punching, to ensure quality and efficiency.
Process Optimization:
Identify prospects for process improvements and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
Ensure all production activities adhere to established safety standards and protocols.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of production workers,



providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Conduct regular training sessions to ensure the team is knowledgeable about the latest production techniques and safety practices.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all products meet company standards and customer expectations.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify and rectify any quality issues.
Machine Shop Operations:
Manage and maintain machine shop operations, ensuring all equipment, including belt systems and automatic tool changers (ATC), are functioning optimally.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule regular maintenance and repairs of machinery to prevent downtime.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of production outputs, quality control checks, and any incidents or deviations from standard procedures.
