Role description:
Forcepoint DLP & Web Security Administration
Design, implement, and manage Forcepoint DLP and Web Security (Proxy) solutions.
Configure and maintain web filtering, URL categorization, and proxy access policies.
Implement secure web access controls for on-premises, remote, and cloud users.
Data Protection & Policy Management
Define and enforce DLP policies to protect:
Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
Financial data
Confidential and sensitive organizational data
Implement data classification, fingerprinting, and content inspection techniques.
Perform tuning and optimization of DLP rules to minimize false positives and false negatives.
Monitoring & Incident Management
Monitor, analyze, and respond to DLP incidents and web security s.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for complex security and proxy-related issues.
Provide L3 support and technical escalation handling.
Integration & Security Operations
Integrate Forcepoint solutions with:
Active Directory / LDAP
SIEM / SOAR platforms
Endpoint security solutions
Collaborate closely with Security, SOC, Network, and Infrastructure teams.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure adherence to regulatory and security standards such as:
ISO 27001
GDPR
Organizational security policies
Support audit requirements by generating reports, logs, and evidence documentation.
Conduct periodic reviews of:
DLP incidents
Web usage trends
Policy effectiveness
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
Maintain security documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the organization’s data protection and web security posture.
Required Skills & Expertise
Solid hands-on experience with:
Forcepoint DLP
Forcepoint Web Security / Proxy
Knowledge of:
Data classification and content inspection
Web filtering and URL categorization
