Freelance PCB Design Engineer (OrCAD)

Job Title: Freelance PCB Design Engineer (OrCAD)

Job Type: Freelance

We are seeking an experienced Freelance PCB Design Engineer with solid expertise in OrCAD PCB Designer to design high-quality printed circuit boards for electronic products.

Key Responsibilities:
Design PCB layouts using OrCAD PCB Designer.
Create and modify schematics using OrCAD Capture.
Generate PCB fabrication files (Gerber, Drill, ODB++, BOM, Pick & Place).
Ensure designs comply with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements.
Perform PCB design rule checks (DRC) and resolve layout issues.
Collaborate with hardware and mechanical engineers to optimize PCB performance.
Support prototype testing and implement design improvements.
Maintain proper documentation and design files.





Required Skills:
Proficiency in OrCAD Capture and OrCAD PCB Designer.
Experience with multilayer PCB layout.
Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC design practices.
Understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
Familiarity with high-speed, analog, and digital circuit design.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and component datasheets.

Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of PCB design experience.

Deliverables:
PCB layout files.
Gerber files.
Drill files.
Bill of Materials (BOM).
Pick-and-Place files.
Assembly drawings.
Design documentation.
