Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions.
Diagnose speech and communication disorders and prepare individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapy to clients with speech delays, articulation difficulties, stuttering, voice problems, or communication impairments due to neurological/physical conditions.
Deliver swallowing therapy and train patients and caregivers in secure feeding techniques.
Use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems when required.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, educators,



and medical professionals.
Counsel and train family members/caregivers to support therapy goals at home and in the community.
Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and patient progress.
Conduct group therapy sessions, workshops, or awareness programs if required.
Stay updated with research, current therapy techniques, and professional guidelines.

Requirements
Clinical expertise in speech and language therapy techniques.
Proficiency in assessment tools and AAC devices.
Ability to design individualized therapy programs.
Solid observation, documentation, and progress monitoring skills.
Collaboration and teamwork in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
