Maintenance Engineer / Spare Parts Planning Engineer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Lead spare parts planning for current program launches.
Validate Bills of Materials (BOM) and maintain spare parts databases.
Plan inventory requirements and coordinate procurement activities.
Manage spare parts mapping and asset linkage using IBM Maximo.
Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to improve equipment reliability.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Review project schedules and ensure timely execution.
Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
Maintain maintenance documentation and reports.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Maintenance Engineering or Spare Parts Planning.
Experience in Automotive Manufacturing is preferred.




Strong knowledge of:
IBM Maximo
BOM Management
Inventory Planning
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
FMEA
Process Safety Management (PSM)
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Six Sigma Certification
Alteryx knowledge
Macro Programming
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and in shifts if required
