Job Description – Mathematics Teacher

Position: Mathematics Teacher
Department: Academics
Reports To: Principal / Academic Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons as per the prescribed curriculum.
Create a positive and stimulating classroom workplace that promotes learning.
Assess, record, and monitor students’ progress through assignments, tests, projects, and examinations.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, and other teaching-learning materials.
Use innovative teaching methodologies, activity-based learning, and technology integration to enhance understanding.
Identify students requiring additional support and provide remedial teaching when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and academic performance.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate student progress effectively.
Support school events, academic activities, competitions, and co-curricular programs.
Ensure classroom discipline and adherence to school policies and procedures.
Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and academic improvement initiatives.





Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics (B.Sc./B.A. Mathematics) with B.Ed.
Master's Degree in Mathematics (M.Sc./M.A.) preferred.
Relevant teaching experience in CBSE/GSEB/ICSE schools is desirable.
Robust subject knowledge and classroom management skills.

Pay: ₹10,473.98 - ₹42,435.07 per month
