Job Summary

House of Doh is looking for a energetic and customer-focused Captain to lead the front-of-house service team. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth daily operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and maintain high service standards aligned with our sourdough pizzeria & café concept.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day floor operations and ensure smooth service flow.
Lead, train, and supervise service staff to maintain high standards.
Provide excellent customer service and handle guest queries or complaints professionally.
Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and overall ambiance of the dining area.
Coordinate with the kitchen team for timely order execution.
Take orders, suggest menu items, and upsell specials when required.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, especially sourdough pizzas, beverages, and café offerings.
Monitor staff grooming, discipline, and performance.




Assist in billing, cash handling, and POS operations.
Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Requirements & Skills
2–5 years of experience in a similar role (Captain / Senior Steward).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Leadership ability with a hands-on approach.
Valuable knowledge of restaurant service standards and etiquette.
Ability to handle busy service hours efficiently.
Familiarity with POS systems.
Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
