We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Zoology Lecturer to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in zoology, developing engaging course materials, conducting practical and laboratory sessions, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic and research activities of the department.

Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Zoology.
Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory practicals, and field-based learning activities.
Develop lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and assessments.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Mentor and advise students on academic and research projects.
Supervise student dissertations, internships, and research activities where applicable.
Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Engage in research, scholarly publications, and career development activities.




Participate in departmental meetings, accreditation activities, examinations, and other institutional responsibilities.

QualificationsEssential
Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Zoology or a closely related discipline.
Eligibility qualifications as required by the relevant higher education regulatory authority (e.g., NET/SET or equivalent, where applicable).
Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.

Preferred
Ph.D. in Zoology or a related field.
Previous teaching experience in a college or university.
Research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Experience with digital learning platforms and contemporary teaching methodologies.
