Job Title: Head Cashier – Retail Store

Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Head Cashier to oversee all front-end cash operations in our retail store. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth billing processes, manage cashier staff, maintain accurate cash handling procedures, and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support all cashier team members during shifts
Ensure accurate billing, cash collection, and daily reconciliation
Train new cashiers on POS system, customer service, and store policies
Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues promptly
Monitor checkout counters to maintain speed, accuracy, and service quality
Prepare daily cash reports and coordinate protected drops/bank deposits
Ensure compliance with loss prevention and cash handling guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of billing counters




Assist with store operations when needed (returns, exchanges, stock checks, etc.)
Collaborate with store management to improve processes and customer experience

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cashier or Head Cashier in a retail workplace
Strong knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setting
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in supervising teams
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, billing software, POS tools)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
