Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Commi I – Continental to support the Continental kitchen operations. The candidate will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining quality and hygiene standards, and assisting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook Continental dishes as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Handle preparation of vegetables, meats, sauces, soups, salads, pasta and other Continental items.
Ensure proper portioning, seasoning, taste and presentation of food.
Maintain consistency in food quality and quantity.
Follow standard recipes and food preparation procedures.
Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials.
Check freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.
Follow FIFO and proper food storage practices.
Monitor wastage and minimize food costs.




Maintain kitchen equipment and report any damage or malfunction.
Follow food safety, personal hygiene and company standards.
Assist during buffet, banquets, events and high-volume service when required.
Coordinate with other kitchen team members for smooth service.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Chef or Management.

Skills & Competencies
Good knowledge of Continental cuisine and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Valuable knife-handling and basic culinary skills.
Ability to work under pressure during peak hours.
Positive teamwork and communication skills.
Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Willingness to learn current recipes and techniques.

Qualification & Experience
Qualification: Diploma / Certificate in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in Continental kitchen operations preferred.
Candidates with relevant hotel, restaurant or commercial kitchen experience may be considered.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
