About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our EdTech team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality video content for educational and promotional purposes across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Edit educational videos, promotional videos, social media content, reels, and short-form videos.
Create engaging and visually appealing content that aligns with the brand and educational objectives.
Add transitions, animations, text overlays, subtitles, graphics, sound effects, and background music as required.
Ensure proper audio and video quality throughout the editing process.
Collaborate with content creators, faculty, marketing, and design teams to develop video content.
Adapt video content for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other digital channels.
Organize and manage video files, project assets, and editing resources efficiently.
Stay updated with current video editing trends and social media content formats.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality video projects according to deadlines.

Required Skills




Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
Knowledge of motion graphics, basic animation, color correction, and audio editing.
Good understanding of social media video formats and trends.
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
Ability to understand creative briefs and convert ideas into engaging visual content.
Valuable time management and ability to handle multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Multimedia, Visual Communication, Film, Animation, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in EdTech, digital content creation, social media, or e-learning will be an added advantage.
A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is preferred.
