Yoga Teacher

Bharathidhasanar Group of Schools is looking for a qualified and dedicated Yoga Teacher to help students develop physical fitness, flexibility, concentration, discipline, emotional balance, and healthy lifestyle habits.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular yoga classes for students across different age groups.
Teach age-appropriate yoga asanas, pranayama, meditation, and relaxation techniques.
Plan structured yoga sessions according to students' physical abilities.
Improve students' flexibility, strength, balance, posture, and concentration.
Promote discipline, mindfulness, stress management, and positive habits.
Demonstrate correct techniques and ensure students practise safely.
Monitor students and provide individual guidance where required.
Organize yoga demonstrations, competitions, workshops, and special programmes.
Support school-level wellness and physical fitness initiatives.
Maintain attendance and basic student participation records.
Coordinate with Physical Education teachers and school management.
Participate actively in school events, meetings, and professional development programmes.

Eligibility
Diploma / Certificate in Yoga / B.P.Ed.



with Yoga specialization / M.P.Ed. with Yoga specialization
Recognized Yoga Teacher Training certification preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
Positive knowledge of yoga asanas, pranayama, meditation, and basic anatomy.
Ability to teach children in an engaging, patient, and disciplined manner.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience conducting yoga programmes or competitions will be an advantage.
