Ayurveda Panchakarma Therapist – Job Description
Perform Panchakarma therapies and Ayurvedic treatments as prescribed by the doctor.
Prepare treatment rooms, medicines, oils, and equipment before each session.
Assist Ayurvedic doctors during consultations and treatment planning.
Conduct therapies such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Pizhichil, Njavarakizhi, Elakizhi, and other Panchakarma procedures.
Monitor patients during treatments and report any concerns to the doctor.
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in treatment rooms and therapy areas.
Ensure proper storage and handling of Ayurvedic oils, herbs, and medicines.
Guide guests on treatment procedures and post-treatment care.
Maintain treatment records and daily reports.
Follow hospital and safety protocols at all times.
Coordinate with the reception and operations team regarding guest schedules.
Provide skilled and compassionate care to all guests and patients.
Requirements:
Diploma or certification in Ayurveda Panchakarma Therapy.
Previous experience in an Ayurvedic hospital, clinic, or wellness retreat.
Knowledge of traditional Ayurvedic therapies and wellness practices.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in shifts and as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety standards.
