Head Chef – Continental & Healthy Café

We are setting up a new premium healthy café in Sahakarnagar, Bengaluru and are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join us during the pre-opening stage.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and finalise the complete café menu.
Prepare continental dishes, healthy meals, salads, sandwiches, wraps, breakfast items, pasta, starters and high-protein meals.
Develop attractive gym/fitness-focused and calorie-conscious dishes.
Standardise recipes, portion sizes and food presentation.
Calculate food costs and help maintain valuable food-cost percentages.
Assist owners in selecting commercial kitchen equipment and planning the kitchen workflow.
Help identify reliable ingredient and food suppliers.
Maintain food quality, taste, presentation and consistency.
Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
Train and supervise junior chefs and kitchen assistants.
Control food wastage and kitchen inventory.
Coordinate with the barista and front-of-house team.
Help develop new and seasonal menu items after opening.





Candidate Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of professional kitchen experience preferred.
Strong experience in Continental / Café cuisine.
Knowledge of healthy and high-protein food will be highly preferred.
Experience in café menu development is an advantage.
Good understanding of food costing and inventory control.
Ability to lead and train a small kitchen team.
Creative with food presentation and new menu development.
Comfortable joining during the pre-opening/setup stage.
