Job Summary

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and appearance of all public areas of the hotel, ensuring a clean, protected, and welcoming environment for guests and employees while adhering to hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain all public areas, including the lobby, reception, corridors, elevators, staircases, restrooms, restaurants, banquet areas, meeting rooms, offices, and back-of-house areas.
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
Ensure public washrooms are clean, sanitized, and adequately stocked with toiletries and amenities.
Remove trash and dispose of waste according to hotel procedures.
Clean glass panels, mirrors, windows, and other high-touch surfaces.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Replenish housekeeping supplies in assigned areas.
Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning machines safely and efficiently.
Respond promptly to guest requests related to cleanliness and public area maintenance.
Follow hotel health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.




Assist with deep cleaning schedules and special cleaning projects as assigned.
Support the housekeeping team during high occupancy or special events when required.

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or equivalent.
1–2 years of experience in housekeeping or public area cleaning in a reputed hotel.
Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel will be an added advantage.
Freshers with a positive attitude may also be considered.

Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of housekeeping cleaning procedures and chemicals.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically fit to perform cleaning duties.
Positive attitude with a robust service orientation.
Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in luxury or premium hospitality.
Tamil language proficiency is preferred.
Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: ₹15,266.46 - ₹18,509.81 per month
