B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy)
Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council
Job Responsibilities
Dispense medicines accurately as per prescriptions and hospital protocols.
Verify prescriptions, dosage, drug interactions, and medication instructions.
Maintain proper records of medicines, stock, expiry dates, and controlled drugs.
Ensure safe storage and handling of medicines.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare specialists regarding medication-related matters.
Counsel patients regarding proper medication use, dosage, precautions, and storage.
Monitor inventory and assist with timely procurement of medicines.
Follow hospital policies, pharmacy standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Maintain cleanliness, organization,
and safety within the pharmacy.
Perform other pharmacy-related duties assigned by the management.
Preferred Skills
Good knowledge of medicines and pharmaceutical practices.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a hospital workplace.
Basic computer knowledge and pharmacy inventory management skills.
