We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NICU Staff Nurse to provide high-quality care to neonates in a critical care setting. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring newborns, assisting in procedures, and ensuring patient safety in the NICU.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns
Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate patient records
Administer medications, IV fluids, and feeds as prescribed
Handle NICU equipment such as ventilators, CPAP, infusion pumps, and incubators
Assist doctors during neonatal procedures and emergencies
Maintain infection control and hygiene standards
Educate and support parents regarding newborn care
Respond effectively to emergency situations
Qualifications
B.Sc Nursing / GNM with valid nursing registration
Certification in NICU / Neonatal care preferred
BLS / NRP certification is an added advantage
Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of NICU experience
Strong clinical and observational skills
Valuable communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in high-pressure environments
Compassionate patient care approach
Salary
₹15,000 – ₹40,000 per month (depends on experience & hospital)
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
