Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Operation Theatre (OT) Staff Nurse to provide high-quality perioperative nursing care. The ideal candidate should have experience in assisting various surgical procedures, maintaining sterile techniques, and ensuring patient safety before, during, and after surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare the operation theatre for scheduled surgical procedures.
Verify patient identity, consent, and pre-operative checklist.
Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and the surgical team during operations.
Perform duties as a Scrub Nurse and Circulating Nurse.
Maintain strict aseptic and infection control practices.
Prepare, count, and manage surgical instruments, sponges, and consumables.
Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Ensure proper handling, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments.
Maintain accurate nursing documentation and OT records.
Respond effectively during emergency surgeries.




Ensure compliance with NABH and hospital protocols.
Participate in OT quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Requirements:
B.Sc. Nursing or GNM.
Valid Kerala Nursing Council registration.
Minimum 2 years of Operation Theatre (OT) experience.
Experience in General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, or other specialties is preferred.
Knowledge of OT equipment, sterile techniques, and infection control.
Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work rotational shifts and emergency duties.

Preferred Skills:
OT Scrub and Circulating Nurse experience.
Ability to anticipate surgeons' instrument requirements.
Robust critical thinking and emergency response skills.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Pay: From ₹17,000.00 per month
