Role & responsibilities

We require an experienced and technically solid Facility Head for a premium high-rise commercial office building. The candidate will take complete responsibility for the operation, upkeep, preventive maintenance, and emergency management of all engineering systems and common-area facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead complete facility and engineering operations of the commercial building complex.
Ensure optimal functioning and uptime of electrical systems, HVAC, DG sets, UPS, transformers, LT/HT panels, lifts, BMS, plumbing, pumps, fire-fighting systems, fire alarms, STP, WTP, and other critical infrastructure.
Plan, implement, and monitor preventive, predictive, routine, and breakdown maintenance schedules.
Supervise engineers, technicians, supervisors, vendors, AMCs, and outsourced service providers.
Maintain technical logs, equipment history cards, PPM schedules, statutory records, daily reports, incident reports, and monthly MIS.
Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical, fire and life-safety, lift, pollution-control, labour, and building-maintenance requirements.
Coordinate with tenants,



property owners, client representatives, fire authorities, electricity authorities, OEMs, contractors, and senior management.
Monitor energy consumption, water usage, diesel consumption, maintenance expenditure, spare-parts inventory, and vendor performance.
Manage emergencies, equipment failures, evacuation support, fire drills, and business-continuity arrangements.
Ensure timely closure of tenant complaints and maintain high standards of service across common areas and technical services.
Prepare budgets, technical reports, quotations, work orders, permits, and improvement proposals.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E./B.Tech or Diploma* in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Building Services Engineering.
Preference for candidates with additional qualifications or certifications in:
Facility Management
HVAC operations
Fire and life safety
Electrical safety
Energy management
Building Management Systems
