Role & responsibilities:
Prepare and review daily journal entries, cash reports, and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and promptly escalating any discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial reporting packages, financial statements, supporting schedules, and related documentation.
Prepare, review, and coordinate capital call and distribution calculations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance before management approval.
Coordinate the preparation and delivery of capital call and distribution notices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and transparent communication with investors.
Assist in preparing and reviewing management fee calculations, distribution waterfalls, carried interest calculations, and other fund allocation schedules.
Manage investor portals by uploading, organizing, maintaining, and distributing investor documents in a timely and accurate manner.
Support internal and external audit requests by preparing schedules, reconciliations,
financial reports, and supporting documentation.
Take ownership of assigned projects, working independently with minimal supervision while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and management to meet deadlines, resolve issues, and maintain compliance with established procedures.
Mentor Associates by providing technical guidance, sharing best practices, and supporting adherence to internal policies and firm processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in private equity fund accounting or fund administration.
Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and private equity fund accounting principles.
Willingness to support occasional travel (up to 5%) and additional projects as required
