SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST

WHAT YOU WILL DO

to how Amgen accelerates scientific discovery and decision-making across
Research & Development.

DDS is seeking a Senior Data Scientist based in Amgen India to deliver advanced
analytics and data science solutions in close partnership with global R&D;
stakeholders. This role will report to the India Principal Data Scientist and
operate as a hands-on individual contributor,



with no formal line management
responsibilities.

The successful candidate will apply an analytics-first mindset, independently
owning analytical problem solving from concept through implementation, while
collaborating closely with onshore DDS leadership, business partners, and IS/DTI
teams.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

HANDS-ON ANALYTICS & SOLUTION DELIVERY
Apply an analytics-first mindset to R&D; by designing and delivering advanced
analytical solutions using contemporary statistical, data science, and AI/ML
techniques
Independently design, build, implement, launch, and maintain analytical
solutions aligned to business strategies, goals, and roadmaps
Serve as a hands-on subject matter expert for data, analytics, and metrics,
providing practical, actionable insights to stakeholders
Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and
translate them into well-scoped analytical approaches
