Offshore Structural Department Manager

This role may be based in either our Bangalore or Chennai office

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Structural Department Manager to lead and
manage our offshore structural engineering discipline across global operations.

This role is responsible for ensuring the secure, productive, and high-quality
delivery of structural engineering solutions across offshore oil & gas, marine,
and energy transition projects.

You will serve as the technical authority for offshore structural engineering
while providing governance, leadership, and strategic direction across all
activities—including topsides, jackets, floating systems, and associated




infrastructure—aligned with KBR’s engineering management systems, project
requirements, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
Department Leadership & Strategy
Lead and develop the Offshore Structural Engineering Department across global
execution centers
Establish and continuously improve structural engineering standards,
procedures, and best practices in line with KBR management systems
Align departmental strategy with business growth objectives and project
delivery goals
Support capability development and strengthen offshore positioning for future
projects
Technical Authority & Governance
Act as the technical authority for offshore structural engineering
Ensure compliance with:
International codes and standards
Project specifications and contractual requirements
KBR Engineering Management Systems and procedures
Approve design philosophies, methodologies, and key technical
