As a Senior Audio Software Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, optimizing, triaging and supporting audio functionalities for Amazon's next generation devices. You will be working on DSP firmware, Linux drivers and middleware for audio on embedded products.

Audio software stack on Android/QNX/Windows/Any proprietary OS
DSP architectures (Cadence/Tensilica/TI)
Linux Audio driers (ALSA/Pulse Audio/Pipewire)
Audio HAL
Dolby MS12/DTS/MPEG-TS
Audio/Video Sync
STB/DTV audio systems
I2S/TDM protocols
Familiarity with using Oscilloscope,
Logic Analyzer, Audio Precision tools
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Design audio features that work across various embedded products
Develop audio software that runs on ARM/DSP using Bare metal, Linux and other high level OSes
Optimization and porting of audio and speech processing algorithms
Integration of vendor hardware and software stacks
Tune hardware for highest audio performance and lowest noise
Be passionate, responsive, adaptable and able to succeed within an open team-oriented peer environment
Be able and willing to multi-task and learn recent technologies quickly
