Nursing Superintendent / Ward In-Charge / Medical Officer
Job Summary
The ANM is responsible for providing basic nursing care, maternal and child healthcare services, immunization support, assisting doctors during patient care, and maintaining nursing standards in accordance with hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide basic nursing care to patients.
Monitor and record patients' vital signs.
Administer prescribed medications and injections.
Assist doctors during examinations and minor procedures.
Provide antenatal, postnatal, and newborn care.
Conduct immunization and vaccination activities.
Maintain patient records and nursing documentation.
Ensure infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
Educate patients and families on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive healthcare.
Maintain nursing supplies and equipment.
Respond promptly to patient emergencies.
Follow hospital safety, quality, and infection control protocols.
Qualification
Diploma in Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM).
Valid State Nursing Council Registration.
Experience
Fresher or 1–2 years of relevant experience.
