Core Responsibilities
Plant Operations: Manage and monitor ETP systems (such as ASP, MBBR, and SBR) to ensure wastewater is treated properly before release.
Process Control: Monitor parameters including pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), and Total Suspended Solids (TSS).
Chemical Dosing: Regulate the addition of chemicals, coagulants, and nutrients based on wastewater characteristics.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks, cleanings, and preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, blowers, and screens to prevent breakdowns.
Record Keeping: Maintain daily log sheets tracking water meter readings, chemical consumption, and operational metrics.
Compliance:



Ensure the treated effluent strictly meets environmental standards set by bodies like the Central/State Pollution Control Boards (e.g., CPCB/MPCB norms).

Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Typically requires an ITI certification, Diploma, or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or Analytical Chemistry.
Experience: Usually 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in operating wastewater treatment facilities (ETP/STP/RO/ZLD systems).

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
