This Position reports to:

R&D; Project Manager

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the chance to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement cutting-edge solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D;) team.

This role is contributing to the AUPI IDS Division in Bangalore, India

You will be mainly accountable for:
To provide broad technical software support, training, pilots and consulting services for clients and to carry out the
implementation of software products in pulp and paper industry
Digital project implementation in pulp and paper industry




Work with Project Managers to define scope, features and estimates for product development.
Work directly on development tasks; provide technical leadership; coordinate with other resources and create high
quality products within the defined schedules and budgets.
Work with customers to define recent opportunities for plant level applications.
Should be proficient or have the capability of becoming proficient at installing, configuring, developing a workflow process, troubleshooting the software, and staying current with upgrades, updates and patches.
Plan and do technological training for customer key users or internal team.

Qualifications for the role:
Should have experience in developing at least one application as a full stack developer.
Deep knowledge of Object-oriented programming and Design patterns.
Working with Pulp & paper industry applications & knowledge of any DCS/PLC/SCADA ap
