We are looking for an experienced Finance Leader to head the overall finance function of the organization. The role will be responsible for leading the finance team and managing all finance operations for businesses, including pharmaceuticals, speciality chemicals, and custom manufacturing.
The position will work closely with the leadership team to support business growth while ensuring solid financial governance, compliance, and performance monitoring.
The role will drive financial planning, budgeting, MIS reporting, treasury management, statutory compliance, and business finance support, enabling both top-line growth and bottom-line profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Budgeting
Prepare quarterly and annual business plans and budgets.
Monitor sales and margin performance against approved budgets.
Support business teams in achieving financial targets and profitability.
MIS & Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly MIS reports including P&L;, cash flow, inventory, and balance sheet.
Present financial performance insights to the management and board.
Monitor monthly sales and margins in coordination with business teams.
Finance Operations & Systems
Develop and implement robust finance processes and SOPs.
Lead implementation and optimization of ERP and finance systems.
Ensure process compliance across finance operations.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
Manage cash flow and maintain healthy liquidity levels.
Forecast working capital requirements and Capex funding needs.
Work with financial institutions to secure credit facilities when required.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, statutory audit, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities.
Stay updated on statutory and financial compliance requirements.
