Role & responsibilities

To manage laboratory operations, ensure proper preparation of materials, and support scientific staff by maintaining compliance with GLP standards in routine technical tasks.

Operate autoclaves for sterilization of media, glassware, and consumables.

Prepare reagents, buffers, and solutions as per SOPs.

Label and organize test materials for ongoing studies.

Maintain logbooks and records.

Support QA audits by providing accurate technical documentation.

Monitor stock of consumables and chemicals; raise requisitions when needed.

Maintain cleanliness and biosafety standards in the lab.

Assist in calibration and routine maintenance of basic instruments.

Provide technical assistance during assays.

Prepare slides, media,



and consumables for experiments.

Free up Study Directors and scientists from routine chores so they can focus on study design and reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

B.Sc./MSc. in Life Sciences or Diploma in Laboratory Technology.

Candidates with robust technical skills and prior laboratory support experience (GLP/regulated setting preferred).

Knowledge of autoclave operation, reagent preparation, and GLP documentation. Ability to follow SOPs, GLP documentation, and adapt to different departmental needs.

Robust organizational skills and attention to detail.
