Role & responsibilities
Support the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud data settings using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, GCS, Cloud SQL, Bigtable, and Pub/Sub.
Develop and maintain Terraform modules for provisioning cloud resources, ensuring consistent, secure, and compliant deployments.
Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines (batch and streaming) using Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, and Pub/Sub.
Participate in application and data integration efforts, including reviewing SQL/ETL logic and supporting CI/CD deployment processes.
Support highavailability and disaster recovery strategies across cloud data platforms.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable cloud data solutions.
Contribute to cloud architecture discussions, focusing on performance, cost optimization, and data governance.
Estimate time, cost, and infrastructure needs for project requests.




Research and recommend cloudnative technologies aligned with HCA Healthcare best practices.
Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and streamline operational workflows.
Support the implementation of healthcare interoperability pipelines (HL7, FHIR, CCD, EDI) using GCP services.
Assist in developing and testing disaster recovery plans for cloud data environments.
Stay current with cloud technologies and contribute to migration and modernization initiatives.
Implement automation scripts and tools to reduce manual intervention and improve operational efficiency.
Maintain documentation for cloud data environments, pipelines, and operational procedures.
