Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure & System Administrator to oversee, optimize, and secure our hybrid cloud and on-premises IT infrastructure. With over 10+ years of skilled IT experience, including a robust focus on Microsoft Azure ecosystems, you will play a pivotal role in driving cloud governance, automation, identity access control, and business continuity.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Azure IaaS/PaaS, automated patch management, network connectivity, and security compliance (SOC 1/SOC 2), alongside proven experience leading infrastructure initiatives and resolving complex technical bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & PaaS Administration
Manage end-to-end Azure core infrastructure, including advanced VM provisioning, scaling, disk management, and compute performance tuning.




Administer Azure PaaS offerings such as App Services, Azure Functions, and Storage Accounts.
Drive cloud spend optimization through resource governance strategies and Azure reservations.

Identity, Security & Compliance
Design and enforce corporate security boundaries using Azure Entra ID, Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and application registrations.
Implement secure storage access mechanisms utilizing Shared Access Signature (SAS) tokens.
Lead infrastructure audit readiness and compliance workflows to support SOC 1 and SOC 2 certifications.

Networking & Connectivity
Design, deploy, and maintain robust Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Firewalls, and cross-region VNet peering.
Configure and troubleshoot secure Site-to-Site (S2S) and Point-to-Site (P2S) VPNs.
