Job Title: Soft Collection Agent

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Soft Collection Agent to assist with recovering outstanding payments from customers. The role involves contacting customers through telephone calls, negotiating repayment plans, and ensuring timely debt recovery while maintaining a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Contact customers via telephone to follow up on overdue payments.
Negotiate suitable repayment plans based on customers' financial situations.
Collaborate with the Accounts and Legal teams to support debt collection activities.
Develop and implement effective debt collection strategies to maximize recoveries.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment commitments, and account status.
Search publicly available databases and internal systems to locate customers when necessary.
Monitor payment arrangements and follow up to ensure timely repayments.




Prevent recurring payment delinquency by educating customers and encouraging consistent payment behavior.
Ensure all collection activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
Meet assigned collection targets while maintaining high-quality customer service.

Required Skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Solid customer service and relationship management abilities.
Positive problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of MS Office.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve collection targets.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.

Qualifications
Graduate or Undergraduate (as per company requirements).
Prior experience in Soft Collections, Customer Service, Telecalling, Recovery, or BPO is preferred.
Freshers with excellent communication skills may also be considered.
