Job Title:
Lab Assistant – Milk Quality Testing

Location:
Tumkur





Role Objective
To
ensure milk quality and safety
at the
Bulk Milk Chilling (BMC) level
by conducting quality tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
Milk Quality Testing
Conduct daily tests including Fat, SNF, MBRT, adulteration, preservatives, and antibiotic checks.
Maintain accuracy and consistency in quality assessments.
Data Management
Systematically record milk quality parameters and test results.
Prepare and submit reports to the BMC In-charge.
Equipment Operation & Maintenance
Operate and maintain lactometers, Ekomilk analyzers, and other testing equipment.
Regularly calibrate tools to ensure exact results.
Hygiene & Safety Standards
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the lab, equipment, and BMC.
Follow best practices in milk handling and quality assurance.
Farmer Coordination
Educate farmers on milk quality parameters and best stor
