Role & responsibilities

Strategic
Develop a comprehensive automation strategy and roadmap for ACG Packaging Materials aligned with the business strategy in association with key stakeholders.
Build business case for proposed solutions in the roadmap. Identify KPIs and Metrics impacted by the automation solutions. Define baseline and targets.
Develop a comprehensive vendor ecosystem for automation solutions.

Functional
Conceptualize, architect, build and deploy automation solutions as per the roadmap.
Requirement definition, field study and assessment.
Automation solution design, feasibility study, conducting proof of concepts & pilots
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to build or buy appropriate automation solutions.
Implement automation solutions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.




Collaborate with business stakeholders and HR to drive change management and adoption of implemented automation solutions.
Track KPIs and metrics defined in the business case and collaborate with relevant business stakeholders to ensure business value realization as per the business case.
Stay current with industry trends and latest automation technologies and solutions that available in the market.
Collaborate with HR to create required training programs to equip operations personnel with required skills to effectively work with automated systems and solutions.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
