About the Role

As a Sr. Java Developer AI Projects (Client Site), you will be Vecton's senior engineering presence embedded within the client's workplace - owning the build, deployment, and production health of AI-enabled systems inside a regulated financial institution.

Our central team designs and architects AI solutions for complex financial use cases. Your job is to turn those designs into hardened, production-grade Java services that run reliably inside the client's stack - integrated with their core systems, deployed through their release pipelines, monitored through their observability tooling, and compliant with their security controls.

This is a forward-deployed, high-ownership role. You will not just write code - you will own builds, deployments, configuration, monitoring, and the automation of manual operational work. You will report to Vecton's central engineering team, with a dotted-line accountability to the client's technical leadership.

What You'll Do
Build and ship production-grade Java / Spring Boot services that expose, orchestrate,



and integrate AI capabilities - LLM calls, multi-agent workflows
Own the full delivery lifecycle: development, code review, build, release, deployment, configuration management, and post-deployment support
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, branching strategy, artifact management, and setting/config/secrets handling in line with the client's release governance.
Instrument and monitor services in production - logging, metrics, tracing, alerting - and drive RCA and permanent fixes for production issues.
Identify manual, repetitive operational work in the client's engineering and business processes and automate it.
Build integrations between AI systems and existing client applications, databases, message queues, and APIs - including core banking / LOS / LMS / CRM systems where applicable.
Provide technical inputs to solution design and effort estimation for current scope within the account.
