Job Description – Programmer (Home & Building Automation)

Role Summary

The Programmer will be responsible for programming, commissioning, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of Home Automation, Building Management, Lighting Management, Audio-Video, and Unified Communication systems. The role requires solid technical expertise to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of all installed systems.

Key Responsibilities
Program, configure, and commission Home Management Systems (HMS), Building Management Systems (BMS), and Lighting Management Systems (LMS).
Configure and integrate Home Automation platforms with lighting, HVAC, security, AV, and networking systems.
Perform Audio-Video (AV) system programming, calibration, testing, and optimization.
Configure and commission Video Conferencing Systems, including cameras, microphones, speakers, DSPs, displays, and control systems.




Integrate third-party devices using standard communication protocols such as KNX, BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, RS-232, and IP-based protocols.
Conduct site testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and client demonstrations.
Prepare system backups, programming documentation, and as-built configurations.
Coordinate with Design, Project, and Service teams during installation and project execution.
Provide technical support during project handover and post-installation service.
Ensure all programming complies with company standards and project specifications.

Qualifications & Experience
Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Automation, or a related field.
3–6 years of experience in Home Automation, BMS, AV, or Smart Building projects.
