Job Title Senior Database Administrator

The Purpose of This Role

Associate will be part of Data Operations COE group within Enterprise Data & AI Division that primarily provides DBA support for multiple RDBMS like Oracle, Oracle E-Business Suite, DB2, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, RDS & Ec2 on AWS. In addition, this team is also responsible for Data Lake Operations on Cloud that supports Nifi (ELT Tool), Collibra Data Governance, Alation Data Catalogue Enterprise Tools & Platform Engineering (Informatica, Middleware), Data Masking (TDM) & Enterprise Snowflake Platform Support

Work closely with CST/ETGS BUs in supporting their databases, ensuring stability,



performance & help migrate them to public cloud as part of the organization data strategy by partnering with Product teams & Architects

Core duties include:
Partner closely with product development teams from the design phase through the full Agile development lifecycle, including future enhancements and production releases.
Actively participate in Agile squad ceremonies, including sprint planning, to understand product priorities, roadmaps, and delivery timelines.
Lead and support application stress and load testing, proactively identifying and resolving database performance bottlenecks (OLTP and batch) to ensure SLA compliance before production releases.
Proactively recommend and evangelize recent database features and capabilities that can be leveraged by product teams for future enhancements.
Support database migrations and version upgrades as part of Technology Lifecycle Management, ensuring compliance with organizational and audit standards.
