Ace Brain Technologies is looking for an experienced Design Engineer Seating Structure with hands-on expertise in CATIA V5. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing seat structural components, creating 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings while ensuring compliance with automotive standards.

Role & responsibilities
Develop 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using CATIA V5.
Design and develop automotive seat structural sheet metal components.
Perform part and assembly design with focus on manufacturability.
Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
Conduct tooling and assembly feasibility studies.
Ensure compliance with FMVSS, ECE, and other automotive safety standards.
Prepare and maintain engineering documentation.




Work closely with cross-functional teams including CAE, Manufacturing, and Quality.
Participate in design reviews and implement engineering changes.

Preferred candidate profile
Robust hands-on experience in CATIA V5.
Positive understanding of Automotive Seating Structure design.
Experience in Sheet Metal Design and Assemblies.
Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and drafting standards.
Understanding of welding, fastening, and manufacturing processes.
Experience in release and change management processes.
Positive communication and problem-solving skills.
