A Retail Sales Associate serves as the face of the store, responsible for driving sales and creating a positive shopping experience. They assist customers, process transactions, maintain store displays, and manage inventory. This role requires robust communication skills and basic math.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service: Greet shoppers, assist them in finding merchandise, and provide knowledgeable product recommendations.
Sales & Promotion: Upsell products, explain product features, and promote loyalty programs or current sales to meet store targets.
Cash Handling: Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, process payments (cash, card), and manage returns or exchanges accurately.
Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, and displays clean, organized, and visually appealing according to brand standards.
Inventory Management: Restock shelves, receive incoming shipments, and assist with stock counts.
Loss Prevention: Monitor the floor for suspicious activity and report security issues.

Qualifications & Requirements




Education: High school diploma or equivalent is typically preferred, though not always strictly required.
Experience: Prior customer service or retail experience is a strong plus, especially for high-end or specialty retail.
Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for extended periods, move around the store frequently, and lift up to 25 to 50 lbs.
Scheduling: Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Skills
Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic math and computer skills for operating cash registers.
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
