Scada Engineer

Location: Kharadi, Pune

Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, configure, and maintain HMI/SCADA applications for industrial automation systems.
Integrate field devices including PLCs, sensors, actuators, valves, and RTUs with SCADA systems.
Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and Profinet.
Integrate SCADA systems with enterprise applications such as MES, ERP, and other IT/OT platforms.
Perform system commissioning, testing, validation, and in office troubleshooting during deployment.
Diagnose and resolve communication failures, software issues, and system performance problems.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of SCADA systems to ensure high system availability.
Implement SCADA security best practices to safeguard industrial control systems from cyber threats.
Prepare technical documentation including system architecture, configuration documents, operating procedures, and test reports.




Collaborate with cross-functional teams including automation, instrumentation, electrical, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
Support system upgrades, migrations, and enhancement projects while minimizing production downtime.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
8–12 years of experience in SCADA engineering, industrial automation, or process control systems.
Hands-on experience with Honeywell and Siemens SCADA/HMI platforms.

Robust understanding of industrial automation systems, PLCs, HMIs, RTUs, and DCS architectures.
Experience configuring industrial communication protocols including Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and Profinet.
Knowledge of SCADA integration with MES, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
