About the Role

JMD Sales Corp. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Sales Manager Government & Education Sales to lead business development for laboratory equipment and emerging technology solutions across Government departments, IITs, NITs, Engineering Colleges, Polytechnics, ITIs, and Skill Development Institutes.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of government procurement, tendering processes, and consultative selling of technical products.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop business prospects with Central & State Government departments, PSUs, IITs, NITs, Engineering Colleges, Polytechnics, ITIs, and Skill Development Institutes.
Promote and sell Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Industry 4.0, Smart Energy, Welding Simulation, 3D Printing, and other advanced laboratory solutions from leading global OEMs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, consultants, architects, and institutional decision-makers.
Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, customer meetings,



product demonstrations, proposal submission, tender participation, negotiation, order closure, installation coordination, and payment follow-up.
Monitor government tenders, upcoming projects, and competitor activities to identify recent business opportunities.
Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Eligibility Criteria
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Government Sales or Business Development within the Education or Skill Development sector.
Strong knowledge of Government Tendering, GeM Portal, procurement procedures, and bidding processes.
Technical understanding of Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, Automation, Welding Simulators, 3D Printing, Smart
