The Associate Finance & Accounts will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, including invoicing, inventory accounting, and supporting statutory compliance. The role requires solid attention to detail, accuracy, and coordination with internal teams and Head Office.
Key Responsibilities
A. Sales Accounting
Booking of sales invoices in the accounting system.
Verification of all supporting documents (Purchase Orders, delivery challans, approvals, etc.) before accounting.
Ensuring accuracy and completeness of revenue entries.
B. Purchase Accounting
Booking of purchase invoices after thorough verification of documents (vendor invoices, GRN, approvals, etc.).
Ensuring proper classification and timely recording of expenses and purchases.
C. Inventory Accounting & Reporting
Maintain accurate accounting records of inventory transactions.
Prepare monthly inventory reports and reconcile physical stock with book records.
D. Physical Stock Verification
Conduct monthly physical verification of inventory at the location.
Identify discrepancies and report the same with proper analysis.
Share detailed stock verification reports with Head Office on a timely basis.
E. Statutory Compliance Support
Assist in preparation of TDS and GST reports.
Support GST reconciliations (input/output, returns data, etc.).
Maintain proper documentation for compliance and audits.
Key Skills & Competencies
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
Understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/ERP, Zoho).
Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
Positive analytical and reconciliation skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a structured manner.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), MBA, M.Com, CA Inter or equivalent.
