Role: QA Engineer Mobile Testing (Manual + Automation)

Key Responsibilities
Manual Testing

Functional Testing
Verify new feature implementations on Android and iOS.
Execute smoke, sanity, regression, and UAT test cycles.
Validate feature behavior against business requirements.
Perform exploratory testing for edge cases.

Bug Reporting

Create detailed bug reports including:
Summary
Steps to Reproduce
Expected Result
Actual Result
Device Information
OS Version
Screenshots
Screen Recordings
Log Attachments

Automation Testing

Framework Ownership

Required Skills

Must Have
2+ years of Android and iOS mobile testing experience.
Experience testing React Native applications.
Robust understanding of mobile release processes.
Hands-on experience with Detox, Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
Experience with Firebase services.
Push notification testing experience.
Payment gateway testing experience (Razorpay preferred).
API testing using Postman.




Debugging using:
ADB
Logcat
Xcode Console
Solid bug reporting and documentation skills.

Nice to Have
Fastlane experience.
Bitrise CI/CD experience.
CleverTap analytics validation.
Financial/Trading domain experience.
Understanding of SEBI-regulated products.
Basic JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge.
Experience reading React Native logs.

Responsible for final QA approval before:

iOS App Store Release

Regression Ownership
Maintain regression test suite.
Ensure critical flows remain reliable.

Automation Ownership
Grow automation coverage.
Reduce manual testing effort.
