Position: School Nurse

Job Purpose

To provide basic healthcare support to students and staff, respond to medical emergencies, and promote a protected and healthy school setting.

Key Responsibilities
Provide first aid and basic medical care to students and staff.
Attend to minor injuries and illnesses during school hours.
Maintain student health records and medical documentation.
Administer medication as per school policy and parental authorization.
Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with parents or healthcare providers when required.
Monitor and maintain the school's first aid kits and medical supplies.
Ensure the health room is clean, organized, and well-equipped.
Support health awareness initiatives and school health programs.
Assist with health and safety procedures during school events and activities.
Perform any other duties assigned by the school management.

Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Valid Nursing Council registration.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.

Experience
Prior experience as a School Nurse or in a hospital/clinic is preferred.
