Design Engineer – Solar

Job Description

We are hiring a Sr. Design Engineer (Solar) to handle system design, drawings, and technical coordination for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects. The role involves working closely with sales and execution teams to ensure accurate and compliant designs.

Responsibilities
Prepare solar layout drawings, SLDs, GA drawings, and BOMs
Perform system sizing, load calculations, and generation estimates
Conduct shadow analysis and feasibility checks
Ensure compliance with MNRE, DISCOM, and safety standards
Support sales with pre-sales designs and technical inputs
Provide execution drawings and design clarifications to site teams




Maintain proper design documentation and revisions

Requirements
BE / BTech in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy
3–6 years of experience in solar design / EPC
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory)
Understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, modules, and structures
Knowledge of PVsyst / Helioscope is a plus
Valuable communication and coordination skills

Pay: ₹11,994.93 - ₹30,000.00 per month
